Miss Buttercups
Founder
Wholesome, accessible, sustainable, and nutrient-dense is what I like to see.

I'm a full-time entrepreneur with a background in nutrition and fitness and a relentless mindset.

In 2019 I graduated from Western University/Brescia University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietitics. After graduating, I quickly realized that my initial dream of becoming a Registered Dietitian was not for me.

My drive to build my own business and passion for fitness got me started in personal training and nutrition coaching, but my creativity pushed me to create nutritionally-dense treats and sweets out of the gyms I worked out of and that's where the protein peanut buttercup, now called OG PB, was born.

The COVID-19 pandemic knocked personal training from under my feet and I jumped from gig to gig doing recipe development, youth summer camps, and nutrition workshops, and developing nutrition labels for brands using ESHA.

But people missed the peanut buttercups.

In March 2021, I got Miss Buttercups launch-ready and put together a Shopify site.
Miss Buttercups is a line of vegan dark chocolate cups with fillings made from nutritionally-dense ingredients like dark chocolate, natural peanut butter, pea protein, dates, flaxseeds, and oat milk.

Each flavour has less than 5g of sugar per cup and is made with ethically sourced cacao.

Miss Buttercups was created for plant-based and vegan consumers, humanitarian consumers, and health-conscious consumers.

Our vision is to create products that are good for people from farm to consumption, to waste.
